Indian Army Recruitment for Technical Graduates-2024, Know Salary, Eligibility and Download Notification

The recruitment is for the 141st Technical Graduate Course (TGC-141) at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, commencing in July 2025.   • Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed or are in the final year of an Engineering Degree (B.E/B.Tech) in the specified streams are eligible to apply. They must submit proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination by 1st July 2025.
  • Final Year Students: Candidates in their final year must not have any backlog and should be able to produce all mark sheets by the specified deadline.

Salary Details

    1. Stipend During Training:
      • Gentlemen Cadets receive a stipend of ₹56,100 per month during the training period at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun.
    2. Pay Scale After Commissioning:
      • Upon successful completion of training, candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenants, and their salary will be fixed at the first cell of Level 10 in the Pay Matrix.

    1. Military Service Pay (MSP):
      • An additional MSP of ₹15,500 per month is given to officers from the rank of Lieutenant to Brigadier.
    2. Other Allowances:
      • Dearness Allowance (DA): As per rates applicable to civilian personnel.
      • Technical Allowance:
        • Tier I: ₹3,000 per month
        • Tier II: ₹4,500 per month
      • Field Area Allowance: Varies based on the area of posting.
      • Transport Allowance: ₹7,200 + DA per month for higher TPTA cities and ₹3,600 + DA per month for other places.

Selection Process Details

  • SSB Interview: Candidates who meet the cutoff are called for the SSB (Services Selection Board) interview, which is conducted in two stages. Only those who clear Stage 1 will proceed to Stage 2.
  • After clearing the SSB, candidates will undergo a medical examination. The final selection is based on merit.

Training Duration
